"A warm, joyful, and authentic community where people can truly come as themselves. It is also one of the few places in New York where you can watch the World Cup in a fully halal, alcohol-free environment without it feeling weird or forced. We can enjoy the game, stop for salah, and come back to hate-watch Messi together. A beautiful balance of faith, community, and fun."

"So glad this space exists. Sisters were saying they won't have to worry about taraweeh being rushed during Ramadan. What a blessing to have a religious space young and old are excited about and want to attend."

"I had a very strange experience at this masjid. I noticed men and women freely mixing, women without hijabs inside the masjid, and people chatting very loudly during the sunnah period after Isha. The individuals I interacted with were very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, it was disappointing to see what should be core etiquettes and standards of the masjid not being observed. We shouldn’t water down our religion or overlook basic principles that help maintain the sanctity of the house of Allah."
